Guys been try to monitor jet traffic from Sydney on route to Singapore
mainly SQ220, have been hearing traffic on atc live feeds but living hear in Sth Aust would like to know what the next freq would be after the ones i hear from live atc YSSY, 118.400, 133.500, 128.500 and thats when i lose them on live atc yssy , so what would the next freq be ? the aircraft would be around way point APOMA i guess. On some days i do see SQ221 on my sbs unit .

Hi Becky and welcome. The next freq after 133.5 in Sydney for the departures to Singapore is 128.2. I sometimes get it on my live feed but not a real strong signal as they are too far West. I think that freq takes them over APOMA. Dave C might know what they transfer onto next after that one. I did this flight a few weeks ago! The other day on our way back into Sydney from Singapore we flew right over Adelaide in the A380. Had a 250km/h tailwind.

Thanks Darren for the reply to my question you could be right about Apoma being 128.200, i will monitoring the freq and see how i go just wanted to see how far i could hear the Sydney traffic to the n/west.

Don't think you will have much luck with it from there but you may hear it on my live feed. Some days it is better than others
