Hi guys & girls,

Just wondering if anyone is running acarsd and if so, can help me out.

I have been running AirNav Acars Decoder for some years now and thought I would run acarsd to see what differences between the two.

Well I have been going on & off for nearly a week now and for the life of me I can't get any messages on acarsd. AirNav is still running fine, so it has me completely stumped why I can't get acarsd running.

It seems acarsd is not a very user friendly program to work with......but maybe I'm wrong.

Dave, I had some problems with it too mate and just gave up in the end. Too difficult to use. Try WACARS. Works way better.

Yeah mate, I have gievn up on it. Eventually did get it working but was getting about one 20th of the messages than I get with AirNav. I love AirNav and get great coverage as I have my antenna mounted high on the roof, was going to try something else just for a change.

I will try Wacars and see how that goes.
