Air Ambulance VH-MVY just reported a green laser on their starboard wing just near Glenfield. Idiots doing this

I hope the bastards get caught too, i'd shudder to think one day it will happen and someone will end up hitting terra firma just so some clown can have their own amusement. im dumbfounded on why people do it.
I truly hope Macquarie fields LAC are onto it.
what sort of charges can they get if there caught?

Interfering with the operation of an aircraft for one. Quite severe. I just heard VH-MVY on Melbourne 133.5 requesting phone number for ATC in Sydney so he can speak to them about it. Good on him. Morons

These people that point out laser at planes do not realize the danger and hopefully they get caught very quick and by the way i was talking to federal police in melbourne airport and some idiot bought an airband radio to transmit and used it to transmit illegal and he got caught straight away it just go to show some shops will sell anything to anyone.
