I am currently using my main sound card to decode Acars.
If i install another s/card will i be able to use it to stream live ATC
or will it affect the acars or vice versa.

Hi all, I may be able to help here. there is a few guys on another forum (you know the one darren :) ) that are trying multiple soundcards in one computer and are having a fair deal of sucess with it. another user is using a PCI soundcard using a USB. its a bit of mucking around setting it up but the user reckons its worth it.
i guess the short answer is yes it can be done.
im actually doing a slight different way and using 2 computers for 2 streams but using a common connection, via a router and having no problems at all too.
cheers all
Matt :)

I do know the forum you mean mate :D Now, just a quick question, one of the members here is having trouble getting his feed to broadcast via the net as he has a router. I had the same problem and I can't remember how I overcame it. Any ideas Matt??? :?: :?:

Im not sure how i overcame it either. i had this probem a few weeks ago, as you know i have the other emergency services stream. it used to run on this computer and one day it fell off(it now runs on the other computer). basically WME 9 needs to pick up the ip address when it first gets opened. if you cant see your ip address (on the internet tab)on the bottom of the connections page no one can connect to it(has to hvae the port number at the end of it too eg 8080, should see something like http://100.100.100.100:8080/). the router should automatically supply the IP address to the computer though.
maybe try firing up WME9 first instead of no-ip duc or try firing up NO-ip first.
yeah i dont think ive been much help, i guess its a couple of things to try?
sorry im not more help
Matt
