Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows the order of frequencies that a flight would use from Bris-Syd. I've kind of worked out by listening that after leaving Brisbane ATC, they seem to use 130.4 (Bris Ctr-Springbrook). Not sure where to next until they can be heard on 123.4 (which can be heard here in Syd) or 119.7 when they are patched together.

Any ideas?

Thx, Pat

Pat, not sure out of Brissy but yes, onto 123.4 on descent and then 124.4 Sydney Approach-North and then Director 126.1

Pat ,
I've been checking charts and the freqs in order from Springbrook going South towards Sydney are in the following order .
127.2 Point Lookout
130.9 Tamworth Area
130.1/124.8 Scone Area ( Not 100% sure of these , but give them a go )
123.4 Arrivals 30NM -80NM from the North
Hope these are of some help ...... Happy scanning

Dave,

Many thanks for that. Yeah, i have heard Brisbane Ctr refer some aircraft to Point Lookout 127.2 from Sprinkbrook. Unfortunately, couldn't really hear anything on 127.2 so wasn't sure. Just curious, what charts are you using?

Thanks,

Pat

Pat ,
There is a chart called the "frequency planning chart " . It covers the whole of Australia . One one side it shows Class E airspace boundarys and frequencys , and on the reverse shows Class G info . I cross referenced the info with information in the ERSA just to double check .
