Hi Guys,

I just purchased and paid for PlanePlotter and would like to view peoples signals from the web on my PlanePlotter but I am having difficulty setting it up to receive peoples data.

If someone could provide some assistance that would be great!

I currently have the SE1 map of Melbourne-Sydney and would love to be able to view traffic on this.

Regards

Nick

Hi, everyone.

I'm in the same position - I have got PP but I need some assistance to get the right maps (Melbourne initially) and a link to shared data.

I'm aiming to get hardware but I'd like to see it operating first. Any Melbourne folk on the list?

Cheers

Paul

Iobtained SE Aus and Syd terminal charts from http://www.mantma.co.uk/pp_maps_eu.html but there are any others for Aus I would be very grateful if you could email them to me.

Cheers

I am in the same boat. I have the program running right now, with a list of aircraft showing. I can't find maps of Australia, nor can I find any feeds of data that have position info. Can someone help me please?

Hi All,
I have just paid for, registered and installed Plane Plotter so I can watch and query the planes I see flying over my house regularly, and now I also need some help please.

Firstly I'd love some maps of Aus (PM Sent).

Next, after setting my PC's time to UTC and doing everything I read in all the various help topics, I sort of got it working. Problem I am having is planes seem to drop off the map (I am using Sydney AP and Australia SE1 & Australia SE2 maps from the link provided above (http://www.mantma.co.uk/pp_maps_eu.html)). Some times they all go at once, other times a few will go at once. And again sometimes they return, but other times I need to turn off then on again the share function.

Another problem I have is when I try to view the satellite image Plane Plotter freezes and needs to restart before it will work again. I have google earth installed.

Any help on the above issues would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Con

Howdy guys,

I'm also in the same boat. Registered the software, downloaded the maps from mantma, clicked my green button and I have nothing. I tried with my time UTC and also back on Brissie time. The PlanePlotter window always displays the correct UTC time.

Now I'm kind of stuck as to what to do :/

It does say "sharing download 1 done (uncompressed)" when I click the green circle. But then nothing after that.

Any help is much appreciated

I promise you guys I will do a tutorial on this tomorrow after work and post it up in step by step form to make it easy to follow. For those that don't have the Aussie maps, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to send them and the associated .clb files. Sorry about the delay with silly season and all I think we all have a good excuse at being slack on catching up on posts etc.
