An interesting one yesterday SQ298 Overfly over Sydney (Christchurch to Singapore) at 12.50pm EST was a 777-300 series. Usually it is the 200 series in 9V-SV series regos. This one was 9V-SYI. A rare one. Below a screen shot of it some miles out to sea. Lower than usual at FL320.

Chris, you need Planeplotter to be able to do it. Check the Planeplotter thread. Then you need $40 to register it once off and you can integrate it with Google Earth and Google maps. It's a bloody brilliant piece of software and the East Coast is covered well. Don't forget Airservices is soon making it law for a/c to be ADSB equipped so imagine what we will see then.
