I have put version 4.8.2 on the web site at
http://www.planeplotter.com

If your browser shows you an older version on the page, use your
browser Refresh or Ctrl_refresh to force it to reload the page.

As usual, upgrades are free to registered users. Just download the
new version.

There are a couple of changes.

If you right click on an ACARS entry in View..Messages or
View..Aircraft, it will open a page about the aircraft on
http://www.airframes.org. The novelty is that it will now extract the type
code from the web page and display it in PP (in View..Aircraft).
Previously, this step only worked automatically for Mode-S ADS-B
aircraft.

To make this happen (I realised), I have added a new OLE/COM
method "SetPlaneTypeByReg" which scripting wizards can use to make
this lookup process more comprehesive and automated.

If you enable alerts on a given aircraft registration or flight
number, the alert box and the log file now include the type and the
route, if known.
