There are a number of new features.
Home location
There is now a home location dialog accessible from the Options pull-
down menu. It is identical to the location in the
Options..Direction finding..Setup dialog but it is easier to find.
Range and bearing
The status bar coordinate display now includes the range and bearing
of the cursor from the home location defined above.
Minimize Alert window
The Alert window now has a minimise option.
Always on top
The View menu now has an "Always on top" option. This makes
PlanePlotter visible even if other windows have the focus. The
option is a toggle - alternate operations apply and cancel the
option.
Bug fix (nearly)
I have changed the timing of the Look-up script that finds an
aircraft registration. I had hoped that it would fix the
intermittent operation of the Look-up. It is hard to be certain but
I get the impression that it is much better but still occasionally
fails at the first attempt.
