Yesterday dawned windy , but with a great clear sky for once . I was to be rewarded with the unusual sight of a Virgin Atlantic A346 inbound SYD from Hong Kong , not on its usual Boree3 STAR , but much farther South on a RIVET8 arrival , putting it straight over the top of my place at FL120 . Out came the camera , and I managed to grab this shot .

I'm using a Fujifilm S5600 with the Fujinon 10X Zoom lens .. My son has just bought a Canon EOS400D SLR . I'm waiting to see the results from that camera , and then I may get one of those myself , but in the meantime , I'll keep clicking away with the one I've got .
