Here it is .... SQ Airlines 2nd A380 , slipping over my place about 10 mins ago into SYD on it's first revenue flight . Sorry the quality is not the best , it was decending through FL140 , I had max zoom and max digital set too ... Still better than nothing though .

Don't be so hard on yourself David. Great pic mate, well done. Moving aircraft are not so easy to capture especially at that altitude.

Must admit, it is a hideous looking plane. I don't like the look of it at all but it will be interesting to see the A380 in the QF colours.

Still, the A380 does create that thrill & excitment to us aviation nuts....

It sure does .. I even managed to drag my wife out of bed to see not only the A380 but Emirates and Etihad too . Now that was a first !! ... I'll make a spotter out of yet ..

thats a excellent photo dave, and after all the hype im still yet to see the 380 with my own eyes, thats the closest ive seen it. hoping one day to spot it down here in Goulburn.

Yes I know ... Emma and Marilyn have been "spotted " themselves checking out a SQ flight one evening in Darrens backyard I recall . Funnily enough , Marilyn never complained on the occasion she was forced to accompany me to the Paris Air show a few years ago ... Strange that !!
